Spray records
The vineyard spray record app that tracks REI and PHI for you.
Log a spray on the row, with the EPA reg number, rate, weather at apply time, and the lot the product came from. Re-entry interval and pre-harvest interval count down automatically. CSV exports are ready for your state pesticide reporting authority and for any organic / sustainable certification audit.
What gets captured
Every spray, every field.
Compliance regulators and certification auditors expect a fixed set of details on every spray record. Vinifera prompts for them by default and won't let you save an incomplete row.
-
Product + EPA reg number
Picked from a built-in catalog of registered products. The EPA reg number, signal word, REI, and PHI defaults populate from the catalog so you're not memorizing label data.
-
Lot, rate, and tank mix
Choose a specific inventory lot or let the FIFO walker pick the oldest one for cost reporting later. Rate captured per acre or per gallon; tank-mix calculator reconciles totals.
-
Weather at apply time
Air temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and humidity captured automatically from the vineyard's primary weather source. Drift-deposition reviewers ask for this; we save you the annotation.
-
REI window — auto-tracked
Re-entry interval starts the moment you save the record. Affected blocks show a re-entry badge in the field; scouting and other field-entry forms warn before you go in. Compliant even if your applicator and your scout aren't the same person.
-
PHI window — auto-tracked
Pre-harvest interval blocks the harvest entry form for the affected blocks until the date passes. Mixed blocks honor the longest active PHI from any product applied that season.
-
CSV ready for the state
Pro and Business plans export every spray record to CSV — the column shape matches what most state pesticide reporting systems and CCOF / USDA Organic auditors ask for.
The free tier already covers REI and PHI.
Worker safety is not a paywall. Free, Pro, and Business all get unconditional REI / PHI tracking. Pro adds CSV exports and unlimited record retention; Business adds the budget surface and per-block applied-cost reporting.
FAQ — spray records
What growers usually ask.
Does Vinifera satisfy state pesticide reporting?
The CSV export captures the fields most US state systems require: applicator, date, product, EPA reg number, rate, location (block / acreage), and weather. Some states have bespoke filing portals; the CSV is structured for re-keying or bulk upload where supported.
What about WPS recordkeeping?
The Worker Protection Standard requires display of the last 30 days of pesticide applications at the central display location. Vinifera's spray history view filters to the last 30 days for printing, with REI / PHI columns front-and-center.
Can two applicators record on the same vineyard?
Yes. Pro adds up to 3 team members with role-based access; Business is unlimited. Each spray record is stamped with the applicator who saved it, and the audit log captures every edit.
What if I sprayed before installing Vinifera?
You can backdate spray records to any date — the form has a date picker, not a "now" button. Backdated REI / PHI windows still calculate correctly relative to the applied date.
Does it work without cell signal?
Yes. Spray records save locally and sync when you're back online. See the offline-first capture page for the full sync model — sprays use the same outbox.
