Refund Policy

Effective date: May 1, 2026
Last updated: May 1, 2026

All Vinifera paid subscriptions are billed and processed by Google Play Billing. Refunds are issued by Google, not by Vinifera. This page explains how to request a refund and what we can — and cannot — do on our end.

1. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a Vinifera subscription, use Google Play's order history:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device or visit play.google.com/store/account/orders.
  2. Find the Vinifera subscription order you want refunded.
  3. Tap or click "Request a refund," follow the prompts, and submit the request.
  4. Google reviews each request individually and notifies you of the outcome.

For full instructions and Google's eligibility criteria, see Google's official help article: Refunds for Google Play purchases.

2. Eligibility

Google's refund eligibility rules apply to Vinifera subscriptions. As a general guideline:

Vinifera's own policy is not more restrictive than Google's — we will not override or block a Google-issued refund. However, we cannot grant a refund that Google declines.

4. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your Vinifera subscription at any time through Google Play without contacting us:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Select Vinifera Vineyard Management.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you continue to have access to paid features until that date. After it expires, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. No data is deleted; older records become hidden but are preserved and restored if you re-subscribe.

5. Trial Period

New accounts may receive a 30-day trial of Business-tier features. The trial does not require a payment method and does not auto-charge — it expires to the Free tier unless you start a paid subscription explicitly through Google Play. Because the trial does not result in a charge, no refund is required.

6. Disputed Charges

If you believe a charge to your Google account was not authorized, contact your payment provider (the bank or card issuer behind your Google account) and Google Play directly. We do not have visibility into Google-side billing disputes and cannot intervene in them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email to the address on file before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version.

8. Contact

For questions regarding the refund itself, please go through Google Play.
